  1. I reckon cover will be as follows: Breakfast - Scott and Chris Morning - Arielle Afternoon - Matt and Mollie Drive time - Jordan RMC - Adele and/or Vick Early Breakfast - Katie / Riyadh / New Presenters Weekends - Riyadh/Katie/Vick/New Presenters
  2. Try this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LJgd_erE1m2E2Hlw9Wl6t88jMGflfSmX/view?usp=sharing
  3. Click on link to view, let me know of any mistakes. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LJgd_erE1m2E2Hlw9Wl6t88jMGflfSmX/view?usp=sharing I have left anthems off as we don't really know how that will work yet.
  4. My predictions for cover in general are: Early - Arielle Breakfast - Matt and Mollie Morning - Adele Afternoon - Dev Drive - Jordan Weekend Early - Cel Breakfast - Just Matt/Mollie and Riyadh Morning - Arielle/Katie/Vick Afternoon - Arielle/Katie/Vick Chart - Katie/Vick
  5. I think they may well go back to London as they probably moved to Manchester for Cels TV work commitments

  7. Grid below to show schedule from 1st September. It really shows how different the weekday, Friday and weekend timings are! I have left out some of the early morning as there are so many shows in a short amount of time and they change around constantly and weren't on the press release. Click on image to enlarge. I think it would be a much neater schedule if they got rid of best new pop, bringing Arielle's show in line with Adele's show and also getting rid of party anthems, giving Dev 3hrs on all three days.
  8. The UM Dream Schedule for R1 The Results There are four parts to this results post: My interpretation of the dream schedule based on the results Pie charts for the votes for each show Chart of the top 25 presenters based on total number of votes across the poll Other fun facts (including popularity of double acts) My interpretation of the dream schedule based on the results Where a presenter is the most popular choice for multiple slots, they are chosen for the one where there is no alternative who is both popular and available (i.e. the presenter in second place has been chosen elsewhere). Despite the fact that Matt and Mollie were voted most popular for weekend breakfast, as Matt was more popular on his own overall (throughout the entire poll), I have decided to put Matt solo down for that slot. Weekdays (Mon to Fri) 04:00 to 06:30 – Adele Roberts 06:30 to 10:00 – Greg James 10:00 to 13:00 – Arielle Free 13:00 to 16:00 – Scott and Chris 16:00 to 19:00 – Jordan North Scott Mills for Chart on Fridays 19:00 to 21:00 – Annie Mac 21:00 to 23:00 – Rickie, Melvin and Charlie 23:00 to 01:00 – Jack Saunders Weekend (Sat to Sun) 04:00 to 06:30 – Gregor Davidson 06:30 to 10:00 – Matt Edmondson 10:00 to 13:00 – Nick Grimshaw 13:00 to 16:00 – Dev and Alice 16:00 to 19:00 – MistaJam for Dance Anthems on Saturdays Cel and Katie for Life Hacks on Sundays Pie charts for the votes for each show Click the link below: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YIAUMAhox_46oleWcBaFqeG7NtywbgaP/view?usp=sharing See key points at the top of the document for more information on this. Chart of the top 25 presenters based on total number of votes across the poll Scott Mills Jordan North Greg James Arielle Free Chris Stark Dev Alice Levine Matt Edmondson Annie Mac Nick Grimshaw Charlie Hedges Jack Saunders Katie Thistleton Adele Roberts Clara Amfo Melvin Odoom Rickie Haywood Williams Cel Spellman MistaJam Mollie King Gregor Davidson Riyadh Khalaf Huw Stephens Maya Jama Phil Taggart Other fun facts (including popularity of double acts) There were 63 responses. 67% of responses favoured including Friday in the weekday schedule, leaving only 33% favouring a three day weekend. The most popular new presenters were (in no particular order): Riyadh Khalaf, Abbie McCarthy, Gregor Davidson, Jessica Maciel and Vick Hope. Matt Edmondson is more popular alone than with Mollie. Dev and Alice are more popular together than apart. Dev was slightly more popular than Alice. Cel and Katie are more popular together than apart. Katie is more popular than Cel. Scott and Chris are more popular as a duo than Scott is solo. The only new double act suggested a significant number of times is Annie and Grimmy. Rickie, Melvin and Charlie were always voted as a trio other than for dance anthems where Charlie was preferred solo.

  10. THIS FORM IS NOW CLOSED, RESULTS ARE BELOW. I have created this google form we can do, giving our dream R1 schedule. Please complete before 12:00 GMT (midday) on Sunday 19 April. I will then use results to determine our ideal schedule. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfyhht_XCjuXpJN1K9iu-295UNoFVdxQSiOT3u6H7IT4cYOpQ/viewform?usp=sf_link
  11. Loving Scott's shows at the moment and Greg's shows recently too, they both seem to understand what the nation needs at his time and can easily fill those 4 hour shows. Even Grimmy seems to be top of his game, particularly when on with sinead. Its just Clara who lets the side down really, without the live lounge and with the extra hour there really needs to be more in the show. On the weeks when Scott isn't in, she should run some of his features.
  12. Upcoming Schedule Changes W/B 14th Matt in for Greg W/B 21st Katie in for Adele Jordan in for Scott Phil in for Annie Adele in for RMC Kenny Allstar in for Tiffany Calver Frank Carter in for Dan P Carter W/B 28th Arielle in for Adele Adele in for Clara
  13. The most complicated schedule of all time!
  14. Early - Katie Thistleton Breakfast - Greg James Morning - Dev and Alice Afternoon - Matt and Mollie Drive - Jordan North 7pm - Jack Saunders 9pm - Three from Kiss Weekends Arielle Clara Grimmy Scott/MistaJam/Adele Roberts
  15. I listen to Greg or Dev and Alice first thing. Then at the weekends I put Jordan or Maya on Listen to most of Matt and Mollie Listen to all 4-7 shows Over to capital (JJ) in evenings Listen to Scott Mills Daily or Chris Moyles Podcast later in the evenings
  16. Loving how the podcast seems to have grown from 8 to 20 mins to a proper highlights show, he's probably got the most features out of everyone now some of the old ones are back.
  17. Dev is off 12-14 Oct so we have just Alice! The single shows are much better IMO.
  18. Weekdays (including Friday) 04:00 - Katie Thistleton 06:30 - Greg James 10:00 - Adele Roberts 13:00 - Matt and Alice 16:00 - Scott Mills Monday to Thursday 19:00 - Nick and Annie 21:00 - Radio 1 Comedy 22:00 - Jack Saunders 00:00 - Huw Stephens Friday 19:00 - Annie Mac 21:00 - Pete Tong 23:00 - Danny Howard Weekends (excluding Friday) 06:00 - Dev and Mollie 10:00 - Jordan North 13:00 - Clara Amfo 16:00 - Cel and Maya 19:00 - MistaJam 21:00 - Charlie Sloth 23:00 - Phil Taggart Jordan North to be cover for all weekday shows other than breakfast. 24. Still no sets on iPlayer from the other stage on Saturday, watching the ive main stage thing is great but missing the djs on screen and the lack of radio coverage, the bbc staff are probably just stretched with the 4 sites
