Alice levine is sitting in for Matt on sat aug 16 and sun aug 17. Scott is sitting in for Grimmy on breakfast aug 18-22 and Matt is sitting in for Scott. Those are the only changes to the usual line up as far as I can see

It's good news for Grimmy.He's up on the quarter and year on year.He has 6.4 million listeners if you include listeners over 10. Radio 1 is down a bit on last quarter though, but up on this time last year. Meanwhile Chris Evans audience continues to grow .It's now nearly 10 million. Mystery to me. It looks like Edith Bowman is leaving radio one a month earlier than planned. Dev is doing the review show on tuesday august 5 and 12 but those same 2 weeks Edith is presenting the film review show on radio 5 live so she's not on holiday.Looks like next tuesday (july 29) must be her last show

She's not. Richard Allinson is sitting in for him when he takes his next holiday august 11-15

Yeah I assume that Grimmy starts his summer holiday on his 30th birthday on thursday august 14 so Scott will probably be sitting in from fri aug 15 to fri aug 29

The only change to the normal schedule the week beginning sat august 2 is that Adele Roberts is sitting in for Dev on weekend breakfast august 2 and 3. August 4-8 schedule is as normal

Looks like she has a very bright future on radio 2. Word is she's favourite to get her own weekday daytime show

in 2 or 3 years time 4am- Dan and Phil 6.30am- Greg and Fearne 10am-Alice Levine 1pm- Matt Edmondson 4pm-Nick Grimshaw 7pm-Phil Taggart and Huw Stephens 10pm- Gemma Cairney 1am-specialist I'm assuming that sadly Scott will have moved on by then,hopefully to radio 2,and that Zane Lowe will also have decided to move on ,or maybe doing a new weekend new music show. (weekends 1-4 maybe). I think Greg and Fearne would work well together on a new breakfast show

Given how badly received that guy was on the England-Italy commentary maybe they're worried that Scott and Chris might be drafted in to do the main commentaries from now on

Scott and Chris have been quite heavily slagged off by their fellow BBC presenters for the 'alternative' world cup commentary. The humourless snobs have complained that it's ruined the BBCs professional coverage of the world cup. It's interesting that Fearne and Chris Evans co present such a lot of shows on the BBC. Could it be that they're lining up Fearne to be Grimmys replacement on breakfast, so she would be Evans equivalent? They certainly seem to be giving Fearne more and more prominence

I don't think Huw wil leave Radio One for many years to come but I do agree that he'll probably never do a daytime show again. He'll stick to the night time specialist stuff for the rest of his time there probably. He's started doing less stand in work f or daytime DJs. Dev and Matt Edmondson have mostly taken over that work I guess from now on Alice Matt and Dev will be the 'default' stand ins for Fearne Scott and Greg respectively with Scott standing in for grimmy

I think Lily Allen stood in f or him recently. Years ago he used to take most of january off and a different celebrity would present every night for 2 or 3 weeks but they probably don't have the money for that now

They should have just replaced Fearne with Annie Mac or Alice Levine as part of the schedule changes yesterday.Nobody would notice the difference she's off so much!

I saw the writing on the wall as far as Edith, Nihal and Rob Da Bank are concerned. Cooper wil keep dropping the older ones every now and again.. But well done to Pete Tong and Annie Nightingale for surviving the cull yet again! Also good to see Alice get the weekend lunchtime slot ,as many of us predicted a female would take over that slot, and Huw is in a better slot that suits his talents and interests.He should have got a weekday evening slot years ago. Of course great news that Scott is staying on weekday afternoons for now.Does that mean his contract has been extended does anyone know? PS I'm sorry to see Jen Long and ALLy McRae go.It's particularly backward that Radio 1 are getting rid of all their scottish DJs in t he month of the referendum,esp so soon after OBW coming from there. It doesn't send a very friendly message to the scots does it! The Review show might be a bit miffed that the show is being dumped after winning a sony gold last year! One question- now that Huw is doing the 10pm slot who wll be the stand in f or Zane Lowe? Alice or Phil maybe?

Gemma Cairney is taking her first break since starting on earlies so Adele Roberts is sitting in for her from monday june 23 for a week (or maybe 2 who knows) also ..Ellie Goulding is sitting in for Zane Lowe on monday june 23 for one night only !

I've warmed to Fearne over the past few months I must say.She seems to be more natural and relaxed on air than she used to be, and a different side of her personality that you see more of on Celebrity Juice is coming out. I quite like her now. Hope she has a nice well earned holiday this week!
