Think Grimmy needs another chance as mentioned, definitely a new production team needed! If not would love him on drive, he was really great at it ages ago covering scott and then greg! Matt would be a great ultimate replacement for Scott. Love Alice Levine, don't see why her and Phil Taggart couldn't go together to Fearne's slot, (with a good production team that don't play loads of music and do nothing).

Weekends gemma uses one opposite Scott, Matt uses Scott's, hue uses Greg's, Danny Howard uses one opposite sloths...

As much as I would like to see Scott do it, it won't happen! Ifmi was Ben cooper I would instantly move Fincham, he's not really suitable! Grimmy IS a great presenter just needs a strong production team to support him and his abilities! A co-host could instantly re-invent the show just like on 1xtra.. Could be anyone from stark to Mac, or dev or even a late night presenter, anyone to add some enthusiasm and ideas to the show!!

Coopers 2 year plan, think he's the all guy, I actually like his show but do thnk that it could be improved with a better production team! A good producer improves a show p, hence Scott mills show is so good thanks to TOTDS and cara!

Did she actually think that now she was still even within a chance of hosting the RADIO 1 BREAKFAST SHOW!? maybe with someone else... But for someone who is now a mother and hene needs more time off why should she be hosting one of the most famous youth radio shows in the world! Sorry to be really mean but her show is heavily lacking in features and is basically just a playlist with her saying that was this and this is that, you're listening to radio 1... Best of luck to her but sorry... Really like grimmy but would think by the end of this year he will have finished as breakfast show host, thnk he would be better on drive time anyway.. INMHO sorryyy for the rant guys!

Anyone got it? Really funny? I went on a tour of 1xtra and radio 1 on Saturday and it was amazing, highlight was going into Scott's studio learning about everything and having a photo in front of his mic with his headphones on!

someone could put it on youtube... if i wasn't working i would have been able to record it but i can't start the feed off as the cameras aren't always on

I applied for both and confirmation of applying for both but am still waiting to find out if I was successful for the studio competition! Some people have already been told they were unsuccessful, so hopefully by having not heard yet this means I've been successful!!

Really good idea!! A lot of respect for radio 1 doing this! Especially considering how little females they have on radio 1. Although would have done a joint Annie mac and Annie nightingale show at the start of the night or something like that to celebrate Female broadcaster and to show off Annie nightingale- the 1st female broadcaster!!!

I hope this is good news for Dev! I felt he was going to end up in that slot forever, really annoyed about Gemma taking over she is way to grating for that time of day! If they wanted a female to take over why not Adele, Alice Levine, jasmin, or Clara Amfo, all much better choices! Sara Jane, lovely girl, but not very good solo dj, would much prefer her with another dj, she works well with trevor nelson at the end of his show. Jameela either needs to go or have Scott with her every Sunday or just have Scott or Greg take over completely!

It's what the producers use during video feeds to pick which camera to operate as opposed to someone else doing it, such as during interviews, nicks tape and dj targets show which is fully visualised would recommend watching that on a saturday night if you haven't before!

Dev stay where he is . Would put money on a Grimmy/Greg swap in september! No chance of a Moyles return... Backwards step! And he said he won't return to radio for a while. Sara is a gonna sadly... But Edith might stay she is doing a kind of specialist show now so it soesn't matter plus it sounds young and fresh, nice and quick unlike her 6music show!. They won't get rid of Pete now as he just got an MBE plus it would be station suicide in the dance music scene! Annie Nightingale will stay, it would be ageism of the worst kind if they sacked her! Matt will replace Scott next year, but think Scott will stay and when he goes chris will side for Matt... Zane deserves to stay after his incredible 2013 with the jay z Kanye and Eminem interviews! Love Phil and Alice! Could see Alice repleacing fearne and Phil replacing zane! Jameela NEEDS to go!!!! Weekends apart from Matt and Danny Howard are awful!!!!!!! Sort it out radio 1!!!!

Agreed! Producer Cara has definitely excelled herself as a producer, more exciting guests on innuendo bingo, taking advantage of the Thursday recording of graham norton to get some lunchtime guests on the show in the past including j-lo etc... Showing off the radio 1 family bond on real or no real and other fun features, not saying. Ddn't like the TOTDS shows, but Scott has really Showed why he deserves to stay at radio 1 with his current shows!

I really like Alice, But also don't forget about Phil he's so funny, incredibly passionate about music and a hot talent! They'd be great on 1-4 with Matt Edmondson on Drive in a few years, really solid lineup that would be!

Shows how crap she is when they have to get Scott in to do the Christmas chart show as she can't be trusted to do the most important one by herself... Scott excels as a radio presenter every day!

If Ben Coopers plan was to put Grimmy on breakfast for 2 years, I completely understand why, they needed a scape goat after Moyles' very long breakfast run, whoever went in after him was going to be a fall guy, also Greg's show and presenting style has improved VASTLY over the last year alone, he's got much better at random chat as opposed to strict features and has also got good at a zoo format! I love the idea of Huw's session show as after Zane's performance this year- Jay Z, Kanye West and Eminem interviews there is no way he's leaving that slot anytime soon!!! I think getting rid of Gemma from early weekend breakfast and putting Dev there would be great, allow him to grow more as a presenter in a bigger slot! Also wouldn't mind Grimmy in the afternoons, really liked him in early 2012 when he did a lot of the covering for Scott and Greg, he was still fresh and had a good producer, sorry Matt but your much more suited to a strict format not a creative one!

few things, will Scott being doing Christmas day live as greg has past few years? I always enjoy dipping in and out of that show! Also why no New music takeover start of the year, that was always a TOP listen, loved having Annie Mac playing tunes at 10am and Phil Taggart at drivetime, also having the late night shows like Benji B- doing his string ensemble and Toddla T at 7pm as opposed to 2am was really special for one offs, or in the past having Kissy Sell Out at 7pm, just makes the start of the year that bit more special and gives them a chance to show off their skills so as to attract more listeners! Shame!
