  1. He's Saviour of Radio 1 and all that. Would be hard for the Beeb not to keep him as you say, considering his consistent rating average. Doubt Moyles will be getting another contract extension next year, so it'll be interesting to see what he will be upto next. Radio 5 Live perhaps or another crack on mainstream telly?
  2. Ah, love Masterchef to bits. Probably one of the few shows I actually enjoy on BBC One, that and WDYTYA.
  3. The BBC Trust did report that Radio 1 was doing well to cater it's audiences, hence why I believe there should be if any, minor tinkering.
  4. Type 'Radio Downloader' onto Google, click on I'm feeling lucky and download that. Never fails me, it catogrises all BBC Radio programs and fairly easy to use.
  5. Ah 50 Cent said he would retire if this song didn't beat 'Stronger' by Kanye West or something like that. Such a shame he went #2.
  6. Oh this song has 'Coronation Street' written all over it.
  7. Moyles > Gordon Smart. ScumTalk more like. Bah, I rather listen to Daily Mail journalists blabber about whats bad about Britain - and that's saying something.

    TOY STORY 3

I've been waiting for this day to come for like eleven years. Now for Beverly Hills Cop 4 and my checklist is complete.
  9. Ah yes, edited it! Fractions certainly weren't my strongest point... :hahaha:
  10. Filming for Wossy's last show was yesterday night I think. So this will be part of his three day promotional tour in the UK. 100 movies, blimey. That's like probably five times* of what a Hollywood actor will do in his lifetime and just above the average for a Bollywood one. Edited...
  11. I like Cotton. The audience hasn't declined but their hasn't been a signficant increase in attracting new target audiences, such as the BBC had hoped for when they installed Fearne and Greg in their positions.
  12. It's sadly growing on me. :x  Heck, I even try doing her voice and the ghost hand actions.
  13. Fat chance that'll be happening in a while! The BBC put her there for a reason and although her viewing figures have been declining as of late, they obviously feel she's gonna be a longgg term investment.
  14. It's a continuous cycle that comes every two-four years. - England get drawn into an 'easy' pre-qualification group. - Players and the manager are happy, believe they can win the group, nothing to fear. - They draw to a 'mediocre' team, get hampered by the press. Fans call for players to be dropped. - Play one spectacular game with goals galore, win the fans over. - A string of average performances and bang, they are in touching distance of winning the group. - England win the group, the fans j*zz their pants. Then... - Scandal leaks out to the press causing disharmony amongst the England camp. - Press speculate about who should go on the plane. - Fans complain about hotel pricing and holiday fares. - Player gets injured in training, nation starts "praying" for recovery and causes the manager to tweak his team if can't be selected. - You get pundits saying "England can win the tournament", which is a joke really when watching the pre-tournament matches. And... - England's opening game is disappointing and they scrap into the next stage with two blunt wins. - England play a well organised team in the quarters, The Sun slags them off. - 9 times out of 10, England get beaten on penalties and are out. - Press wonder what went wrong, call for whole team to retire, restart debate on foreigners and grass roots football. - Manager ponders if he should continue and likely to stay on board with a massive pay increase. Promises the nation he will win something. Repeat cycle.
  15. She filled in for Fearne a couple of weeks back. Hopefully Annie takes over the mid-morning slot in the near future; Fearne's more of a weekend radio presenter for me.
  16. Motty's sadly retiring from international tournaments. He was present in South Africa however. Still, his on MOTD so I can enjoy his and
  17. I think I realised the pattern the BBC do to their Radio 1 presenters. Once they become old and wrinkly shift them to 6Music, then BBC Radio 2? Oh and then present some modest Radio 4 documentaries before retiring. I wouldn't be surprised if Moyles heads to Radio 5Live after leaving Radio 1.
  18. There was CBBC commentary which I was tempted to switch. I don't understand why Lawro is still the BBC's main co-commentator. His just grinds my gears.
  19. Yes, because they are the 'nice, nice, awh, sympathy" team. It's like when everyone wants Arsenal to win a trophy because they play football the way it should be. The amount of yellow cards dished out made it seem it was a battle.
  20. Holland's approach to the game was a disgrace.
  21. Huw's been filling in a lot recently, I'm guessing he would take Greg's slot had Zane not been absent for the whole of next week.
  22. Such a shame her singing voice is dreadful.
