Clara like the rest of the DJ’s are free lance so they get paid a contract to do a number of shows. If she doesn’t do them she doesn’t get paid.

I think we’ll see a daytime schedule in partic through August like greg/RMC/Dean &Vicky Greg/Dean & Vicky/Jordan & Vick or Katie jordan & Vick/RMC/Dean & Vicky Poss even Matt and Molly covering breakfast so two can be off at the same time

Not sure a small lay in would help more than 2 weeks off

I suspect that they’ll only be 2 shows between 11 and 6 hence the late Greg start and they haven’t finalised who’s doing what week yet. I think the changes are more to do with less production teams as there are plenty of presenters who can cover.

I’m not sure about Matt but Mollie with a baby and Stuart with the cricket almost certainly rules her out of a Glasto weekend

It’s less important these days the Christmas number 1 is now a charity single now X factor’s died and there’s different metrics to success.

Sounds like Matt is safe surely else he’d be announced with the others. If there’s anymore changes ahead of the September I’d be looking at one of these Greg James leaving the biggy news but unlikely. Dean & Vicky uncoupling - heard more noises around this and may explain why they’ve been covering other shows. - slight chance Clara Amfo - wouldn’t be surprised if her slot gets merged with Jacks if not this year then next - medium chance Arielle Free - wouldn’t be surprised if she moves to a daylight time or evening slot. RMC - despite noises surrounding age I don’t think they’ll be leaving just yet. 1 or 2 more years for RMC
