Please tell me you're not saying Dick and Dom should still be on radio 1? Dave is a legend, and while JK & Joel were a little cheesy at times I think they still had a lot of radio1 life left in them. I hope I've misinterpreted what you said. because if not, including D&D in the same catergory as DP is even more of an insult than what Radio 1 did to him

so he's just having a bit of fun. It's not like its being done like big brother, i mean nobody is making any money out of it (other than voiceover man doing the trails - but most people will agree there shoud be more V.O.M anyway) Lets face it, a lot of the things he gets behind are a being done in a tongue in cheek way, I mean who really thought Wing was actually any good At the end of the day the listeners get a show which has a more interactive twist than usual, and everybody involved with the show gets a differnt challenge and scenery. Everyone a winner in my eyes. If you don't like it I suggest you go and listen to commercial radio, whatever that is

well i've tried scott, sara, chappers and dave, vernona and nihal, and almost always been relevant to a feature, topic or something on headcam (in scotts case) like I said, I know they must get many thousands but I find it very frustrating knowing that I'm using up my texts and seemingly getting no response. the only 2 times i've ever been shouted out were on nihal when he was doing a whats on your left feature, and edith when i was said my brother was on his way to uni last week

that thought strikes the fear of god into me, whenever I think of Switch I get images of the sort of people that appear in Skins and indie kids, that half wit waste of space grimshaw really doesnt help. Its absolutely the wrong way for the BBC to be heading

lucky for some, I've been sending in loads of messages during the week and to the guys that have been on so far today, and not 1. I know they probably receive thousands of messages a day, but does anybody else find they hardly ever get read out, if they even get read out at all?

I never listened to his shows on a friday night, usually because I was doing other things, but his shows on a sunday were great for listening to when driving around in the evening. Many of us on here must remember him on in the evenings after moyles playing popular/playlist songs not just dance tracks and those shows weer great as well, generally an all round brilliant DJ and mainstream radio presenter. Obviously there comes a time when every DJ has to move on, but I think his time came far far to soon, unlike certain others whose departure cant come soon enough

I think they should stick with the Scott Mills daily but I have to agree that while i listen to Moyles at work every day before we open, the podcast can be very boring at times. While I know its a "best of" not everything seems to run in a daily order, cos instance I could be listening and think I remember hearing this on wednesday, the next minute later its something somebody aid on the monday. Maybe its just me but I find this very frustrating Oh and I also like how they still had a podcast of the day Scott was off and Greg filled in, never noticed them doing that before but I think its a great idea. Now if only I could find a website with a SM podcast archive, I found a Moyles 1 not that long ago with pocasts going back a few years

well I'd like to see Switch and BBC3 binned, nobody I've spoken to understands what the purpose is in Switch, its like they tried to make a new format of entertainment by grabbing both the radio and tv audiences but made a real mess of it, much like they did with the chart show. lets put it all back to how it was before..... bin fern and reggie, get JK and Joel back, bin switch and get dance anthems back on. I'm pretty sure that would regain lost listeners and attract new ones. Just look at the rubbish thats on BBC3, there really is no justification in that channel, put the real hustle on dave and just never speak of the rest again

I don't think they bother any more. Can't see it coming back either because of the various BBC guidelines and the fact it is open to exploitation

This might have already been answered in another thread and i just cant find it, but does anybody know how come theres only 2 podcasts this week? I try and listen to him as much as I can but due to the tv/radio battle i have in the afternoon with the girlfriend I might have not heard podscasts being mentioned (if that makes sense?) 22nd and 23rd but nothing for the 21st or 24th thanks

i think the figures are a load of BS, however they figure out the numbers it cant take into account how many people all listen to the same radio, for example at my work we have a radio plugged into the tannoy system from 6 till 9ish, but it can vary from 3 to about 10 all over the shop hearing it
