  1. That's Dino Sofos' outfit isn't it? Looks a very exciting project if so.
  2. Saturday line-up is being released! Here's the complete list.
  3. I remember Chase and Status being added to the line-up for Coventry after a drop out. At the time it seemed a bit random, but they seem massive again now!
  4. I feel like all ATB songs started with some sort of airport in their video
  5. Brings back some memories. Your Call for the second hour between 5 and 5.45! The disappointment when someone would call in asking for James Blunt which was already on the playlist.
  6. Can't believe he's barely been on social media too
  7. She came on before Foo Fighters in 2015 too. If she was playing you'd imagine they'd announce later like Harry Styles in Coventry.
  8. Sara Davies, Vicky Pattison, Alex Scott and Laura Whitmore in the Arctic. https://www.comicrelief.com/press-releases/theyve-done-it-fearless-foursome-dig-deep-to-finish-comic-reliefs-coldest-ever-challenge/
  9. These words of wisdom really resonated with me as somebody who'd love to still get to Radio 1. He really has been a big asset to the breakfast show. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C4i1mc0iYJj/?igsh=ZXM1NWdpMDBuZXl4 Coincidentally his comments on Friday didn't sound like somebody who wants to do more breakfast radio after Greg's show!
  10. So Friday's line-up comes out on Monday. Going to be really interesting to see how that evolves from the dance day to a mainstream day. Having seen pictures of Raye last night it'd be a scoop to get her performing.
  11. True, I think they've focused on the one with Alex Scott instead.
  12. I thought Comic Relief did the dirty on Mollie last night. She'd raised more than £1.1m and yet she was one of the last people on the live show before the 10 o'clock news - hardly prime time and quite late considering she started at 4am. She'd had to rush back from Hull to Salford after her challenge too. It made her seem insignificant. She was on for about two minutes, the highlights montage was pretty uncomprehensive and even the footage of her crossing the finish line was vertical video from social media that looked really grainy. The BBC had access to plenty of footage from local telly and other sources they could have used. I seem to recall they made much more of a thing about Scott and Chris doing the lolathon. Thank goodness Radio 1 made a big fuss.
  13. The truck is here anyway! To be fair they've got a fair bit of mileage out of this mobile studio. She has to do some telly tonight so won't be spending too long in Hull when she arrives.
  14. Makes sense how they're managing to finish before the Chart Show.
  15. Now over the half a million mark
  16. The future of digital terrestrial seems to involve guides that point people to streaming anyway, and that doesn't seem far down the line. Look at the mass exodus of music channels for example.
  17. Oh yeah you've got to make good radio from it, I appreciate that point.
  18. Ah you cynics. If it was that orchestrated they'd not have stood at a finish line waiting for her last night only for her to arrive just as Newsbeat started.
  19. Had the lurgy this week so have been following it all on the radio. Hopefully I'll be well enough for Friday to see her finish in Hull.
  20. Scott's return date is here https://unofficialmills.co.uk/2024/03/when-is-scott-mills-back-on-radio-2/
  21. Think you'll hear Katie in the afternoon with Matt.
  22. It's coming out on April 11th. Will be one I'm planning to get hold of. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Personal-Best-Rock-Bottom-World/dp/139973282X?ref=d6k_applink_bb_dls&dplnkId=07fd47f4-d344-46f2-a7d4-b3e31f65d16d
  23. I can't really get into him covering Rylan. A very different dynamic.
  24. Mollie explains why she's ending in Hull. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/twNcXodHYNYKjRmB/
